Mawa is developed by Honeyloom. You can use Mawa without an account. If you signed in with Google or Apple to back up your data, you can ask us to delete that account and everything stored with it.
How to ask
- Email privacy@mawaquran.com with the subject "Delete my Mawa account" (the link fills it in).
- Send it from the email address of the Google or Apple account you signed in with, so we can find your account. If you used Apple's "Hide My Email", tell us that in the message.
- We delete the account and its data within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account (Firebase Authentication).
- Your cloud backup: your name and email, settings, Quran and dhikr reading progress, prayer settings (including city and country) and reminders.
- Messages you sent through the app's contact form, if you entered the same email address.
Anonymous analytics and crash reports are not linked to your account and expire on their own, as the privacy policy describes. Data stored only on your phone stays there until you clear it in Settings or uninstall the app.
